Our internship program gives students hands-on experience in behavioral health care that’s rooted in compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence. Whether you’re pursuing licensure, earning practicumhours, or exploring a career in mental health or addiction services, Oasis offers an opportunity to grow with guidance, structure, and purpose.

What We Offer:

  • Supervised experience in mental health and substance use care 
  • Opportunities to engage in individual and group therapy, case management, peer support, and outreach 
  • Direct supervision from licensed clinicians, CADCs, QMHAs, and peer mentors 
  • Exposure to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care models 
  • A supportive environment that welcomes diverse identities and lived experience 

Who Can Apply:

  • Pre-graduate, graduate, and post-graduate students in social work, counseling, psychology, public health, or related fields 
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) students seeking clinical hours or supervision 
  • QMHA candidates seeking experience toward certification 
  • Individuals with lived experience interested in peer support work

Locations & Settings

Internship opportunities are available across our outpatient and housing programs, including: 

Supervision & Support

Interns receive weekly clinical supervision and feedback, structured onboarding, and access to training in evidence-based practices including ASAM, harm reduction, DBT, and trauma-informed care. Many of our interns go on to join our team.
