At Oasis, peer mentors are essential members of the care team—people with lived experience who understand recovery firsthand. Trained and certified, they provide consistent support, practical guidance, and genuine connection throughout your journey.
STABILIZATION & EARLY LIFE PLANNING:
During the first phase of care, mentors focus on helping clients meet essential needs—securing ID, accessing benefits, scheduling medical appointments, and establishing care.
TRANSPORTATION & RECOVERY ENGAGEMENT:
Peer mentors provide rides to recovery meetings, community resources, and essential appointments.
COMMUNITY CONNECTION:
Our mentors help clients find recovery meetings and support groups that align with their values and needs—whether that’s 12-step, faith-based, harm-reduction, or trauma-informed spaces. The goal is to build a sense of belonging and continuity outside of treatment hours.
WEEKLY GOAL PLANNING & STRUCTURE:
Clients meet with their peer mentor to create weekly goals, set schedules, and track progress. Mentors offer accountability, practical advice, and check-ins throughout the week—especially important for those in Sober Living.
EVENING & WEEKEND AVAILABILITY:
Support doesn’t end at 5 PM. Peer mentors are available on evenings and weekends to provide continuity of care when it matters most.
INTEGRATED THROUGHOUT THE CONTINUUM:
Peer mentors are involved across all levels of care at Oasis, including outpatient services, high-intensity outpatient care, and recovery housing.
When individuals feel supported and connected, recovery becomes real. Our peer mentors make sure that no one has to walk the road alone.
